A little about me and what I do |

ABOUT ME My friend moved to Minnesota in 2002 and after that I was content with my work as a freelance photojournalist and didn't plan on shooting a wedding ever again. That all changed in 2004 when I shot two weddings for friends of mine and got married myself. Getting married changed the way I viewed weddings. So with a few referrals coming in from my friends & the photographer who moved, I started shooting weddings in 2004. I hesitate to refer to myself as a wedding photographer, as I work in several different photographic fields. Plainly put, I am a photographer. A photographer with a passion for documenting life and a serious passion for the medium of photography, from the shot to the print. Capturing a wedding or any event, for me, is as much an art form as it is something you need a technical expertise in. I've been a professional photographer since 1996. I received a degree in photojournalism from Columbia College 1998. My client list includes NASA, De Paul University, Chicago Youth Centers & IIT, to name a few. My photography has appeared in several magazines & Chicago newspapers, from Crane's to the Tribune, and I'll give your wedding the same attention I did for those jobs and more. ABOUT WHAT I DO "Photojournalistic Style" seems to be the "it" word, these days, in the wedding photography world. The fact is; "Photojournalism" is a profession, not a photographic style. My style is my style and my job as the photographer at your wedding is to document that moment in your life. For the best examples of what I do view my Portfolio and read my comments below each image. QUICK FACTS |
